Presented are vintage World Series ticket stubs that respectively hail from landmark events: the last-ever postseason triumph by a Washington D.C. team and the last-ever postseason game for a Washington D.C. team. Specifically, the vouchers were issued at Griffith Stadium for the 1933 World Series between the New York Giants and host Senators. Includes: Game 3 October 5, 1933; 4-0 Senators win; Game 5 October 7, 1933; Giants 4, Senators 3 (10 innings, Mel Ott game-winning home run). Both stubs feature printed seating and event legends and the facsimile signatures of Senators President Clark Griffith. Both are crease-free and present at the (EX-MT) plateau but technically grade lesser because of handwritten notations (regarding the games) on the reverse.
